If you could truly learn by mechanics someone would have written a book long ago and the swing would have been solved.

Books on each methodology have been written and it still isn’t solved.  The truth is that it will take a combination of both feel and mechanics to bring it all together.  I wish I could find a country that has not yet been corrupted by the idea that mechanics are bad and feel is cool.  What is needed is the correct mechanics followed by their potential feels.
Unfortunately feels are fleeting and misleading.  At least with great mechanics you will never get too far from the truth.
